ASYLUM SEEKERS
1ST AND 3RD WEDNESDAYS OF THE MONTH IN THE GROVE
ART ROOM | 10A
We host our asylum seeking guests on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month. We love on each one as their journey has been long and difficult. We also provide food, beverages, clothing, shoes and showers. We coordinate airfare to cities throughout the USA so they can reconnect with their families as they await their hearing with an asylum judge. Our volunteers drive them to the airport and get them to their gates and through security. Most of our guests have never seen an airport as grand as Sky Harbor. We always need Spanish speaking help but have started receiving guests from all over the world. We need gently used sneakers as well as ladies & gentlemen S,M & L clothing. Please contact Paul Gunther for more information.
